The sight of the approximately 200 maple trees planted within the shrine grounds turning bright colors is breathtakingly beautiful. Maple trees are planted surrounding the Phoenix Hall, and the view of the Phoenix Hall and the trees in autumn leaves reflected in the Aji Pond is breathtaking. The best time to see them is from mid-November to mid-December. During the autumn leaves season, special night viewings are held where the Phoenix Hall and other areas are illuminated.
